As You Like It Challenge (DT) Harvest Colours

So, here we are, just over halfway through September and into the
very beginning of autumn.  This time of year is always the time of harvest festivals
and that is why for this challenge at AS YOU LIKE IT
we're asking for your favourite Harvest Colours

I love the warmth of harvest colours, the golds, reds, and greens of ripe
fruit and vegetables, a season of plenty, a full table of tasty things,

Like this little chap with his golden beetroot, delicious!

Christmas In July

Having a mooch through my phone photos at the weekend, I discovered a
couple of cards that I haven't shared with you yet.

My extremely talented BFF's husband has a habit of commissioning cards from me for her
for special occasions, and this is the one from last Christmas.

So, I used this gorgeously cute chap (well, he was before I got hold of him) from

The holly die cut border is one I bought online but now I can't remember the make or where I bought it

Dies To Die For (DT) Gnomes With A Secret

Morning all.  Well, another dad episode I'm afraid, he had another fall this week and we were woken by a phone call from the neighbour at 5.00am Thursday morning.  Dashed over there to find him on the floor but seemingly unhurt, the neighbour didn't want to move him (and would have struggled on his own) so between the three of us we got him up and into a chair.  There is some mystery as to how this happened but he'd been off-colour for a couple of days with a chill, so it's possible he woke up disorientated and wobbly, and down he went, bless him.  My gift to him this week has been a Zimmer frame.  I can hear the protests now but I'm not taking any nonsense from him!

Oh, and mum is missing the ear pieces for her hearing aids.  She thinks mice might have made off with them.  Sigh.

Anyhoo, on to this weeks make for Dies To Die For

Great fun inking this one up with Distress Inks (ReInkers)

As You Like It Challenge (DT) Stitching

Hello all (and especially to Faith, waving) I hope you are all ok.

It's time for another As You Like It Challenge and the theme this time is
Stitching (real, doodles, or dies)

I used to doodle my stitches onto cards, but then came the advent of stitched dies and I have never looked back.  I love that this tiny piece of detail can add so much to your layers without being intrusive, it is the perfect finishing touch.

So for this I have used a stamp I had been coveting since it was released, and now it is mine, mwahahahahaaa

The Gnome And The Bird (DT) Dies To Die For

Morning all.  What's it like where you are?  It's a bit dingy here, I think we might be in for some much needed rain today.  I only hope it lets my towels get dry first!

There have been a lot of gnomes about on the crafting scene for a while now, and many of them are super cute.  However, when Stamping Bella released their new batch of Gnome stamps I am sure
you will have heard my squeal about 500 miles away.  The only thing about them that scares me are the beards!

Sentiment comes with the Gnome stamp.
Sparkly yellow dots from stash.
Image coloured with Zig Clean Colour pens and a Derwent grey ink drawing pen.
