One Layer or Many (DT) As You Like It Challenge

Morning all, well, it is another Thursday, and I'm guessing you will know what that means?
Yups, time for a new challenge over with the AS YOU LIKE IT CHALLENGE

Our theme for this fortnight is
One Layer or Many (and please tell us why)

I'm more of a middle ground kind of girl, two or three layers at most, but this time I
chose to challenge myself with a one layer make, mainly because I really wanted
to use some of my new kraft cardstock

So this cute is
The sentiment is an old one by Kaisercraft
Llama coloured by Polychromos Pencils
Cardstock from PDA Card & Craft

The sponsor of this challenge is

Polkadoodles Ltd

Prizes: - 3 digi stamps voucher worth £6.75

AYLI (DT) Favourite Papers

Hello AYLIers, it's your favourite day chaps, time for a new challenge with the talented

This time the challenge is a tough one, it's your Favourite Papers - and please remember that you need to tell us why they are your favourites.

What a silly thing to make us choose!  Favourite papers, favourite pet, same thing.  OK, if I am forced to make a decision based on what papers do I go to most often, then it's going to be Nitwits, which is what I used for this card.....or Dovecraft, which I didn't.

So for this I have used one of the Flower Fairies from Wee Stamps
Painted with Distress Inks (ReInkers) to match with the
Country Lady paper pad from Nitwits (sold by LOTV)
Sentiment is by Kaisercraft
Top die is from Tonic, one of a set of three
and the one underneath that is a Joanna Sheen edger die I think

and of course we have a super sponsor for the challenge and it is

£10 voucher
It's your turn now, you have two weeks to rummage through that stash of papers and choose YOUR favourite!

Hugs to all

Smokin!

No Jim Carrey to be seen today, but there is some smoke.

This is the first of my cards for June for the Lili of The Valley Design Collective and uses one of the little ladies that was released not that long ago.

This stamp is Smoke Signal
Isn't she fun?  You can translate those puffs into anything you want ;)
Painted with Distress Inks (ReInkers) - I have tried to keep to what I felt would be traditional colours but maybe that is more Hollywood influence than actual truth
Papers are from Country Gent and Promises Solids
The sentiment stamp (which probably isn't very PC) is from Kaisercraft

There is a Summer Special Event going on at the LOTV shop today, so if you are planning to go I hope you have an amazing time.
If you are not planning to go, why not?!!

Hugs to all
Squirrel xx
