Birthday Witches

Three days in a row, whoop whoop, don't worry, it won't last and will soon
revert to the usual chaos.

A friend and work colleague has a Halloween birthday.  She is also addicted to coffee, you rarely see
her around the office without a mug of java in her hands, usually in a takeaway cup.

Told you there would be another witch from the
Sentiment made up from an older Honey Bee set that I can't find a link for any more

Will I make it back for another posting this week, or will I make you wait until the weekend...guess it'll be a surprise!

Speaking of surprises, a few years ago I bought a Halloween themed bowl from a local discount store.
I'm going to fill it with Toad's "favourite" things for this evening ..... heheheh.

As You Like It Challenge (DT) Favourite Springtime Critter

Hello, and welcome to Spring at last!
Here we are at the last Thursday in March (oh yes it is, next week is 1 April), and it's an

Our theme for this time is Your Favourite Springtime Critter
(and please explain why)

Another tough choice!  I love Spring, the birds, the lambs, the chicks, the bunnies, they all make me happy, but, as we are so close to Easter, for me at this time of year it has to be chicks (although I am a little bit scared of adult chickens if I'm honest) with their significance of birth and renewal.

Looks like this little lady has a basket full of soon-to-be-chicks (hopefully not omelettes)

This is an older stamp that I've had a while waiting to be inked up
Stampavie (Penny Johnson) PEN81 Gretchen Collecting Fresh Eggs (retired)
MFT 6x6 papers - Perfect Pinstripes Pastel (retired)

I've used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens on this one this time, as the colours were a better match to the papers than my beloved Distress Inks

And our sponsor for this theme is

Looking forward to seeing all your Springtime animal creations

Pretty Postage (DT) Dies To Die For

Morning all.  Hope you are all well.  We had a little bit of excitement this week, it was dad's birthday on Thursday so I had booked a day's leave so we could visit on the day.  When we got back, there was a letter on the doormat for Toad, inviting him for his vaccine!  This was about 2.30.  Couldn't book online as the system was foobarred, so we got on the phone (You are number 48 in the queue, please continue to hold).  Eventually, appointment made, same day, so from receipt of letter to returning home from vaccine was 3 hours!  I'm really pleased he is done, now I am patiently waiting for mine.

Anyhoo, brace yourselves, I've gone a bit sophisticated today!

I do this to myself a lot, I buy floral stamps and then panic when it comes to colouring - all done in Distress Inks (ReInkers) as watercolours.  I think I need to lay down in a darkened room now

Happy Birthday (DT) Dies To Die For

Hello peeps, I am here today with something a little bit different for me.  I was inspired to make this by something I saw on Instagram last week made by Peppermint Patty.  She used different ingredients and her make was more sophisticated, but I just loved the idea of making the letters floral.

I think I spent as long assembling this as I would have done colouring an image!

MFT 6x6 papers - Fun In The Sun MFT-EP-64

I used a tiny flower punch from Hobbycraft rather than messing about with repeated die-cutting.

And that's it, colourful, but not a drop of ink anywhere.

Baseball Squidgy (DT) Dies To Die For

Morning all, or should I say Strike One!

I am getting to be a terror at forgetting birthdays until after the event, so this little chap works well for my newly acquired but really annoying failings,  It has become something of a joke these days so that's what I am turning it into "Yeah, I failed again, but I know I did"

Lovely things used

Red cardstock from Rymans

Enjoy your Bank Holiday (UK) weekend folk!
