Well here it is then, 2014 has arrived. Hope you aren't too hung over from last night - I'm not, I toddled off to bed by 10.30. Mind you, I did lay there reading The Killing (the book of the tv series) until nearly midnight so rather than beat the fireworks, I was still wide awake when they started. I seem to have gotten into the habit of nocturnal reading over the holidays but it's a habit I need to break, otherwise I won't be bright eyed and bushy tailed for work in the morning!
And as well as the New Year arriving, some of those friends who are expecting babies will be producing their new arrivals soon, so I was so pleased that Toad bought me the new LOTV baby collection for Christmas. Here is my first one:

I've no idea if the first one will be a boy or a girl (50/50 chance) so best I make a boy card as well!
This is my last day before returning to work and I intend it to be a relaxed and lazy one.

I've also got into the 'nocturnal reading' habit'...but reading doen't make me sleepy, and I'm an insomniac anyway so have regularly been wide awake at 2am over the hols...I'm in big trouble when school starts again and the alarm goes off at 6am! Haha!

Oh this is sooooooooo super gorgeous sweetie, I lurve these new LOTV images.......I've never made many baby cards but now with these I just want to make loads lol.
Happy New Year hun, we didnt go out or drink either, we always just see the New Year in with the kids. We also saw it in with my eldest on Skype lol, though Megan fell asleep lol.

Awww! Such a cutie patootie stamp! I ordered myself some LOTV stamps just before the holidays but after they were closed so I'm patiently (yeah, right) waiting for them to reopen and ship them across the pond to me. I didn't get any of the baby ones but I did get some lovely ones (do they have any other kind?!).
There is a book of the TV show The Killing? I only saw one season of it but it looked very dark and intriguing. I will have to check this out as the book is usually better than the show anyway.

I am so jealous that you got the whole baby collection - I had to pick just one stamp to start with and got Balloon Basket but the one you have used was a very close second favourite. The colours on your card are sooooo pretty - love the patchwork/stitchy feel to the DP.
I have a feeling that there are going to be some absolute must haves in the next LOTV release though - the sneak peeks are soooo tempting me already - more James bear!!
