Morning all, happy Saturday to you. I hope my bloggy pals in the west are all in one piece after yesterday. It was rather unpleasant here so I dread to think how it must have been for you. I hope you are all warm and dry.
I noticed today that a new challenge has launched - it is Fantasy Stampers Challenge Blog and it is for stamped images, no digis allowed, so that is my kind of challenge! Their first theme is Your Favourite Stamp - nothing like making things difficult from the start, lol.
If I were ever to end up on Desert Island Stamps (a new show, like it?) I would have a nightmare narrowing my favourite stamps down to the required number, let alone just choosing one. So I will qualify this by saying this is one of my favourite stamps of 2013.
This is Bunny With Cake from Wild Rose Studio
Any bunny that brings cake has to be a favourite in my book
Painted with Distress Inks (ReInkers) with a teeny touch of white pen
Sentiment is Hero Arts
Whimsy corner die and a simple hole punch
Paper is BoBunny from one of the winter collections, but the pattern isn't obviously winter
Now I have to share very exciting news with the Vince fans out there. Something happened this morning that hasn't occurred for months! I was laying there, enjoying that dozey state you get between the alarm and actually getting up. It was snug, it was peaceful, and there was a paw in my eye. Yep, Vince was sat on the pillow, pawing at the blanket. He wanted to come under the covers for a snuggle with his mum! I lifted the bed clothes and in he came, one turn around and flump, there he was, all soft and soppy. Still no purrs mind, but this is a huge step towards normal behaviour (for Vince).
Anyway, I'm rambling, I'm off to make a latter.
Have a good day everyone.
Hugs
Squirrel xx

Gorgeous card Squirrel and an adorable image. I have had a peek at the new challenge...thanks for that!xx
Now that's my kind of bunny, one that comes with a huge slice of cake!!
Obviously you've got well trained rabbits over in Suffolk! Ours just munch my hubby's crops!!
Have a great weekend xx
Congratulations on being our first entrant to my new challenge blog, hun and thank you for your support.
I love your card and know exactly what you mean about choosing a favourite stamp, even though I chose the theme!! Lol
Good luck, hugz Jan xx
LOL, Surely you could have picked one fave stamp hun, tis easy ROFL. This is a fabulous card, gorgeous cutie image. Joey xx
Cuteness! And the card's not bad either. ;) haha Superb colouring as usual and I'm resisting the enablement as LOTV's newest release on the 14th has more Jacks bounding along that I already know I won't resist! Furry hugs to hairy monster... hopefully in all the hubbub and hullabaloo his purralator just got temporarilyt knocked out of alignment. In the meantime, it's definitely snuggle weather. Love, Beans
A bunny with cake is my kind of bunny.
I'm so pleased that Vince wanted duvet snuggles today. I know what you mean about getting back to normal and their old routines. I'm sure he's a happier boy now if he's pawing you for bed snuggles. I'll bet you didn't want to get up. I would probably have stayed there for another hour if that had been me!
Hugs to you and the boy.

Great card Squirrel. That image is adorable, no wonder it's a favourite.
Great news about Vince. All you need now is some purring to know he's back to his usual self.

Fabulous card, Squirrel. That image is soooooo cute, and of course coloured purrrrfectly! Love your little punched dots...so effective.
Only ONE favourite stamp - now that's torture!
So glad our darling Vince is almost back to normal. His snuggles under the duvet must have felt so good, and I'm sure his purrs will return soon. Our 2 boys love the bed, but only on top, or when we have vacated it. How I long for IN-the-bed snuggles, like previous kitties we have had.
Hugs,
Jennifer. x
Is there any chance that cake is carrot cake??? You know... inquiring minds are inquiring and all. Count me out for Desert Island Stamp Survivors or whatever terrible show would limit us to ONE STAMP. Holy cow. It is a so hard to pick a favorite stamp but it is easy to pick a favorite of the moment!
That's great news about Vince, he is on the right track!
With all the delightful stamps you have Squirrel, I am not surprised you find it hard to pick one over the rest LOL. What a fabulous card :o)
