Chevron Accents (DT) Dies To Die For

Morning all, are you ready for a hot one?  Make sure you take care of yourselves, and keep hydrated.

You might need a stiffer drink now - something a little out of the ordinary from me today, there isn't a stamp in sight!

For this die-cut masterpiece (!) I have used

Well that has my nerves tingling!  I think I need to reach for the paintbrush.....

Friendly Foxes (DT) Dies To Die For

Morning all, happy weekend to you!

It's been a week of typical British weather, humid, sunny, wet, thunderstorms, breezy, you name it, we have (almost) had it all these past few days.  We had one storm this week, in the early hours of Wednesday morning, that was realllllllly loud, one clap of thunder woke me up so suddenly and I was all discombobulated and had no idea who I was, where I was, or what time of day (or night) it was.  The only comfort was that everyone at work a few hours later looked as bleary as I felt!

Anyhoo, last weekend was of course Father's Day in the UK, and I had been saving this set to make my dad his card - he is a country boy to the core and he has such a love of wildlife that it seems right to use this cheeky fella for him.

So the ingredients that I used from Dies To Die For are
and there is a matching Friendly Foxes die set available too

Again this week, I have had the C word mentioned in respect of my colouring - guys, I don't use Copics, I wish I could but I don't have those skills!  99.9% of my images are watercoloured painted using Distress Inks (ReInkers) as my paints.

As You Like It Challenge (DT) Summer or Winter Colours

Hello chaps, and it's time for another challenge from

Here we are, two-thirds of the way through June, in fact, tomorrow is the first day of summer,
and we are asking for
Summer or Winter Colours - Your Favourite

Being a furry little critter, I have an affinity with winter, and certainly struggle with summer, tail wilt is a real issue in high temperatures.  It was a tough choice as I love all colours, but it's been a long time since I played with winter colours and wanted a chance to cool down.

I bought this cutie as a rubber stamp, before Lili of The Valley went digi
Painted with Distress Inks (ReInkers)
Papers are also LOTV

Curvy Girl Eats Cake (DT) Dies To Die For

Morning my lovelies, how are you all today?

I think the sentiment that goes with this stamp is going to become
my mantra, I do have a certain weakness for a nice cake, just ask my Teamie Faye!

And the yummy things I have used are
Stamping Bella Cut It Out Die - Curvy Girl Eats Cake CIO789DIE

The CIO Die is on the website, I just can't find the link to it at the moment - if you have any problems just get in touch with Tracy.

I have painted Curvy Girl with Distress Inks (ReInkers).
The white flower is an old Tonic punch, and the leaf is a die from The Works.

Anyhoo, that's me done for today, I'm off to wrap up some Daddy Day presents.

Hugs to all

Purr-fect (DT) Dies To Die For

Hello chaps,  I am hoping that I have a safer day than yesterday.  Firstly I managed to tip over a 400ml (full) glass of squash, thankfully it was heavily diluted so it wasn't sticky, but there was a lot of dashing around the office grabbing paper towels to mop it all up from my desk.  How can water travel so far?!  Then when I was getting dinner ready I knocked over a full cup of chilled coffee, over me, the worktop, the floor, down the cupboard door......... AND if that wasn't enough, I then managed to trip over the cable while I was charging the laptop.  It really was NOT my day!

Anyhoo, I have used Rosie as my muse (or is that mews) for this make

Phew, that's a whole lot of MFT!

Kitty has been painted with Distress Inks (ReInkers)

Picture Perfect (DT) Dies To Die For

Good morning peeps!  I'm getting this in early, before it gets too hot and I wilt under a lettuce leaf.
Have you seen the forecast?  28C for here in the east, good grief, I am so glad that the tail is being tidied up and thinned out this afternoon!

Before I met Mr Toad, I lived on my own in a little terraced house quite close to the A12 (by quite close, I mean next to it) and because of the road I was loathe to have a cat at that house, but the house needed an animal so I had hamsters.  The first one was called Windle Poons, she was golden and white, and worked out how to pop her exercise ball open by ramming it into the edge of the kitchen door, and the second one was called Abby, she was a soft grey, and she was an escape-from-a-cage artist (ask my mother about the dining room carpet).  If I had been away for a weekend, a friend or willing relative would take custody of the critter-of-the-moment, but it was so hard to find a "thank you for looking after me" card - that problem has now been solved.  All I need now is a another hamster..... although it possibly wouldn't make a great housemate for Rosie!

To make this I have used:

Hamsters have been painted with Distress Inks (ReInkers).
The base layer of rainbow striped paper I picked up really cheaply in WH Smith, it's an A4 pad too!

That's me done, I'm off to load the washing machine to make the most of this awesome drying weather!

Have a wonderful weekend
Hugs
