It's That Time of Year Again

And they're off!  The 2012 Tour de France has officially started, and I'm going to be in heaven for the next three weeks.  And we have a serious chance of having a British winner for the first time ever in the history of the race - GO BRADLEY!!

Just look at all those thigh muscles ........ wink!

For today's earlier post, which actually does feature a card, click here to see my Less Is More entry!

Less Is More - Lucky Dip

Sadly I missed out on last week's LESS IS MORE challenge as I was too busy to have any craft time at all and then our internet broke so that rather scuppered plans.  But I am back to play with the new challenge which is Lucky Dip and the LIM Ladies have asked us to be inspired by the challenge header!

Here is the header

And here is my card

I've used LOTV corners, a Hero Arts sentiment and Hero Arts butterflies, all stamped in dark brown rather than harsh black.  Matted onto a page of Basic Grey.

And now it is time to tell you why my bus was late on Thursday morning - it is making me laugh just thinking about it again - put your drink down, I don't want you to spill anything ..... right, are you ready for this .....
TROUT
I kid you not, it was trout on the duel carriageway, and we hadn't even had rain, a lorry had lost it's load on a roundabout which happened to be on the bus route.
There were a few close-ish guesses but the first one in that mentioned livestock was Victoria of Furry Tale Cards & Crafts - email me hun so I can get your details to send you a little something.
Thank you to everyone who took part in this silliness

Flower Power!

Morning all.  Friday at last, phew!  It's been a long week.  Anyhoo, last night when I was browsing blogland I found the challenge at My Mum's Craft Shop - To Use Your Favourite Stamp - oh that'll be easy I thought, and then I went to look through my stamps and panicked.  Which favourite one to use?!  My favourites change all the time and I don't think I can put my finger on just one stamp but this little darling comes pretty close to top of the list.

This is Flower Power from Crafter's Companion - Strawberry Kisses and I love it.  It is simply a joy to stamp (as are all the Crafter's Companion stamps) and a real pleasure to paint, so out came the Distress Inks (ReInkers) and off I went.

I've simply matted the image on a piece of white card edged with Shabby Shutters Distress Ink to match in with the green used on the image, and then again onto plain white.  Had a rummage through my odds and ends of papers and found this piece of Joanna Sheen green tartan that matched pretty well with the Shabby Shutters.  Simply finished off with a LOTV Circular Sentiment (another favourite) and a few gems from the stash.  Ta-dah.

As for the guesses why my bus was late yesterday morning - some of you are getting close, but no prize yet.  Keep guessing!  I'll reveal the nearest answer and the real answer tomorrow (internet connection permitting).

That's My Kind of Dog

Hi guys!  Not been around much this week due to having nothing to show you and broken internet (again).

Anyhoo, I bet not one of you can guess why my bus was late this morning - the most accurate guess will receive a little surprise candy.  Just leave a comment below.

And while the internet IS actually working, here is a very quick card with my favourite kind of dog - a cute one loaded with presents!

This is Wild Rose Studio "Tilly With Presents" painted in Distress Inks (ReInkers) and a LOTV sentiment.  Simple but cute.

Baby Announcement!!

And we have kittens!!  I'm a great auntie at last.

Ali sent me a text this morning to say that Cleo has delivered three beautiful black and white kittens at 3.20, 5.20 and 6.00 respectively.

No 3 was a concern as it was delivered tail first and Cleo was so tired by then that she didn't show too much interest but thankfully things have perked up since and for such a young cat she is showing great mothering instincts.

Ali is not too chuffed that they are occupying the floor of her airing cupboard, in the bathroom, as it now means she has (or will have in about 8 to 14 days) three more pairs of eyes watching her wash and bathe (Cleo already likes to do this)!

I will post a photo as soon as I get to meet the new brood.

Sunshine And Apples

Afternoon all.  After yesterday being a craftless day I had hoped to do better today, but I've only managed one DT card and one just because I could card.  Looks like it will be a quiet week on Squirrel's World with nothing to show you!!

Anyhoo, here is today's just because I could card:

I've had this Belles 'n' Whistles stamp "Sunshine And Apples" for ages but she's never been inked until today.  I think I was put off by lots of tiny detail, but once I got the brushes going she wasn't too bad.  Sentiment is Hero Arts, painting medium was Distress Inks and the glittered matting card is from First Editions Boho Chic.

No Card Today But ..... A Laugh For You

Hi all, hope your weekend is going well.  I've not got a card for you today as we have been dashing about this morning and are out to a birthday party in an hour.

Pleased to say that we were successful with the microwave shopping - although it was a bit of a bun fight to get there as a new Next At Home store opened on the same industrial park on Thursday and I rather think they underestimated the size of their car park.  I have never seen so many vehicles!  And a lot of drivers had left their brains at home.

Anyhoo, we are now the proud owners of a Panasonic combi microwave/oven/grill and it is all sleek and shiny and I'm terrified of it!  I had got so used to my darlin' little 700w microwave that I knew or could judge cooking times pretty well.  This brute is 1000w.  Eeeeeek.  We may have a few burnt or crispy items for a while.

And the laugh I promised you?  I was going through an old photograph album last night and I found this.

Yes, that's a baby Squirrel.  Yes, I am sitting on the dining room table, yes I am picking the flower arrangement to pieces, yes I do still have short, chubby legs!

Toad took one look and said "You've not changed a bit" ............ Yes I have, I'm at least a foot taller now.

Time To Play

Well, of course it's time to play, it's the weekend!  But it is also the theme for this week's challenge from Lili's Little Fairies.

I had trouble choosing which stamp to use for this as there are so many that could fit the theme, but in the end I went for this little cutie as he'd not seen ink before

Ingredients are:
Stamped Image  Lili of the Valley - Little Ducky
Medium  Distress Inks (ReInkers)
Sentiment  Lili of the Valley
Papers  Helz Cuppleditch Bazoo Zoo and Dovecraft
Extras  Cheery Lynn corner die

Winter Wonderland (DT) Christmas Teddy

Blimey, nearly didn't make it to today - our 19 year old faithful microwave decided he'd had enough last night and went out with a bang and a LOT of foul smelling smoke - spent last evening with all the windows wide open so the wind could clear the fumes.  We all have sort throats this morning!  Guess I know what we will be doing tomorrow, yep, microwave shopping.  I am a little sad at it's passing as it was a house warming present from my parents when I moved into my tiny little terraced house all those years ago.  He survived the move to here and even allowed Toad to operate his little buttons.  Oh how I shall miss that ear piercing bleep.  But, the good news is that it is Friday again, wheeeeeeeeee, and that means ..... WINTER WONDERLAND!  Thanks to everyone who joined in the Candy Cane challenge - the winner and Top 3 will be posted on the Winter Wonderland blog this Sunday.

So, what do we have for you this week?  We have a theme of Christmas Teddy, how cute is that?!  The DT have created some beautiful inspiration for you in case you should be stuck for ideas, but with this theme I think we will have a lot of entries.

And we are sponsored this week by

and Teri is generously offering the winner their choice of four digis from her shop. If you haven't been to visit her shop recently then I can tell you that she has some fabulous new images in store.

Here is my DT card for this week:

This is a Tina Wenke stamp and I think it has a wonderful nostalgic feel.  I've coloured with Distress Inks (ReInkers and Markers) and teamed teddy up with a mixture of Christmas scraps papers from my box.  I think the red was a magazine freebie and the green may be Dovecraft.  The gold foiled sentiment came with a pad of papers.

I shall be looking forward to seeing all your teddies at the challenge during the week.  Have fun!

I'm In The Mood

No, not for dancing, although I have been known to have a boogie or two, but I am in the mood for a teddy bear.  It is persistently raining here today, so that's summer over then, and I could have done with another six hours sleep, and I need a cuddle.  So what better to have a cuddle with than a teddy bear!

I made this card for one of my workmates who has just sat a law exam for the third time - this is in the hope that she has passed!

Ingredients for this card:
Stamped Image: Fizzy Moon
Medium: Distress Inks (ReInkers)
Sentiment: Hero Arts
Papers: Joanna Sheen Calligraphy and Papermania red card

I made the "seal" with circle Nesties and handcut the card "ribbon"

Time Out

And it's another sunny day!  Whoo.  I would say that summer has started but I've seen the forecast for the next few days.  Still at least I won't need to water the lawn for a bit.

I made this card a couple of weeks ago but as it was being posted to a friend I needed to wait for it to be received before sharing it with you.

Ingredients for this card are:
Stamped Image:  Stampin' Bella (Mo Manning) Timeout
Medium:  Distress Inks (ReInkers and Markers)
Sentiment: Sometimes everyone needs a little "timeout" - came with stamp
Papers: Dovecraft Back To Basics and purple scraps for matting layers
Extras:  Gems from stash

I love how Mo gets so much emotion into a line drawing - she is an amazingly talented artist.  I've been slowly building up my collection of Mo rubber - had intended to treat myself to another couple this week but the ones I wanted were out of stock.  Sob.

Hope the sun is shining where you are!

Bella with Balloons

Another clean and simple card for you today - I am really enjoying rediscovering the joys of a simple card.  There is something quite liberating about not having to worry and fuss over matching papers and embellishments!

For this little one I have used Wild Rose Studio - Bella With Balloons, coloured with Distress Inks (ReInkers) and matted with some DCWV cardstock.  The border punch is a Martha Stewart which I did in both directions of the card strip, and a Hero Arts sentiment to finish off.

For a change we have sunshine today and the forecast is for a dry day ..... but I still have my umbrella with me, just in case.  This is England after all!

Something fishy .....

I made this sweet little CAS card yesterday afternoon because the image makes me smile everytime I see it.  Looking at it now, I should have added a couple of tiny fish .....

Obviously my camera is on a "I don't like white" day as the base card is white, not pale blue.  I've used CC Designs "Snorkling Beatrice" and coloured her with Distress Inks (ReInkers), I've added Glamour Dust to her bubbles and used a Pearl Pen to make a few more swimming bubbles.  The sentiment, in Bahama Blue Memento is a Hero Arts one.

Hope your Monday is a happy one.

A wee Wee

Happy Sunday and Father's Day!  We've been over to visit my parents and take dad his little parcels and cards, he was very pleased with them.  His little face lit up when he saw that he had some sweets, bless!

It was so windy here yesterday that we have lost a sheet of felt off the shed roof so Toad is now going out there to be brave and try and fix it.  We have borrowed a ladder from a neighbour this time so hopefully there will be no repeats of the drama of last time with the too-short step ladder!

Hotshot Crafts have a Distress Ink challenge running, and you know how much I love my DIs, so I had to enter didn't I ......

The only parts of this card that I had to buy were the card base and the Hero Arts sentiment - the papers were both magazine freebies, as was the delicious and delightful stamp from Wee by Sylvia Zet.  I thoroughly enjoyed colouring her and am particularly pleased with how her fluffy hair turned out.

Divided Opinions

When I saw the Less Is More Challenge this morning, I thought, not in a million years, I don't do shiny.

But then I had a go - and that's where opinions divided .....

Memory Box dies - Grape Vine Wreath, Vivien Butterfly, EK Success small retro flower, hole punch and a tiny Hero Arts sentiment, gold and silver textured mirri-card

Shiny is so hard to photograph!  I think I had about a dozen attempts and this is the best of a bad lot.  I don't like it and was about it bin it, Toad just said "oh" and a crafty friend loved it.  Make of that what you will.  But I'm brave so I'm showing it to you.

Earlier post today: A Summer Pixie

Hugs, Sxx

A Summer Pixie

For a while now I've been drooling over the pixie cards that the wonderful Delphine makes so when I saw the current challenge for Sweet Stamping Pixies with a Summer theme I thought I would have a play along.

Stamped Image: CC Designs - Rainy Day Birgitta
Medium: Distress Inks (ReInkers)
Papers: Raspberry Road (magazine freebie)
Sentiment: Hero Arts
Extras: Martha Stewart border punch

While I was out in the conservatory making this I was lucky enough to get a quick glimpse between the clouds of the Royal Flypast on its way to London, so I saw it before the Queen!  Just call me HM Squirrel now, lol!  The planes formed up over Southwold and then flew south following the A12 down to the City.

Hope you are all having super weekends.  I'll like to say a BIG HELLO to my recent new Followers - so lovely so have you on board, welcome.

Summer Daydream

It's the weekend at last, yippeeeeeeeeeeeeee!  Managed to avoid getting wet all day until I just got off the bus.  A little bit damp now but I'm home and Vince is purring like a motorboat.  What more could a girl ask for on a Friday afternoon, except perhaps a long iced brandy and lemonade.

Here is my card for the LILI'S LITTLE FAIRIES CHALLENGE of In The Garden

One day my photos will be straight .... ingredients for this card are:

Stamped Image: Lili of the Valley - Summer Daydream
Medium: Distress Inks (ReInkers)
Papers: First Editions Spring Drop
Sentiment: Hero Arts
Extras: Cheery Lynn leaf die and EK Success retro flower punch, Card Candi
X-Cut shaped die

Special Offer!

Hi all, only me, popping in with a quick update on Cleo.  It is now a week and a half since we collected her from the Rescue Shelter and she found her new home with my mate, Ali, and I am pleased to say that she has settled in very well.  She is happy, content, very nosy and eating Ali out of house and home.

Ali took her to be registered with her own vet last night, have her vaccinations and to be microchipped.  The vet confirmed my thoughts that she is much younger than the Shelter told Ali.  He thinks she is about nine months to a year old, rather than the two years previously suggested.

Guess what ............... the kittens are due any time within the next week to ten days!!!!!!!!  Ali is in total and absolute shock, I can tell you.  She never expected to be a grandma.  It would seem that Little Miss Cleo had a night on the tiles unchaperoned before she was taken into the Shelter.

You've heard of a buy-one-get-one-free deal?  This is a much better bargain!

As and when the news comes in of the patter of tiny paws I will let you know.

Hugs, soon to be a Great Aunt, Sxx

Red White 'n' Blue Father's Day

It's amazing, I was off line for three days and my world has fallen to pieces!  I am often heard to mutter about computers and how we'd be better off without them ..... that is, until I'm without one!

So, playing catch up, here is my entry for a couple of challenges from the weekend

Ingredients for this card
Stamped Image:  Penny Black (Mo Manning) Dropping You A Line
Medium:  Distress Inks (ReInkers and Markers)
Papers:  Dovecraft Masculine Collection
Sentiment & Tag: Lili Of The Valley
Extras:  Pebbles Inc Candy Dots

Can anyone tell me how one cat can blot out the whole computer screen?  Vince has a real fetish about sitting up here with me when I am blogging, and he is good company ..... except when he walks backward and forwards in front of the screen and then parks himself right in the middle.  Little devil.

Hugs, Sxx

Non-Jubilee Mini Candy

Hi all!  I'm on HOLIDAY and what a good reason to celebrate.  I'm off work now for nine glorious days, and I don't even care if it rains.

So, here is a mini candy for you to help me celebrate - this post will remain at the top of my blog until the closing date.  Please scroll down for normal posts.

Would you like to win this stamp by Wild Rose Studio called Annabelle's Meadow - Garden Bunnies?

Leave me a comment before midnight on Sunday 10th June and it might be yours!

No rules as such but it would be nice if you were a real follower, not a candy follower, and if you would like to spread the word on your blog that would be great, but not essential.

Here Comes The Sun!

Well it's got to be shining somewhere ..... hasn't it?!  What a day!  I woke up in the early hours to the wind battering the end of the house, and it has just got worse ever since.  The bank holiday week is traditionally the time for the Suffolk Show, a two day event that celebrates everything wonderful about this glorious county, and is normally attended by 90,000-100,000 people over the two days.  Because of the extra holiday for the Jubilee, the show dates were moved from their usual Wednesday and Thursday to Thursday and Friday.  Sadly, because of the high winds, and the danger to people and animals, the show coordinators took the decision this morning to abandon.  The first time ever in 181 shows.  It is such a shame, these shows are years in the planning and most folk around here look forward to it as a really good family day out.

Anyhoo, to bring a little bit of sunshine to an otherwise dreadful day I made a card to enter into the HOUSE MOUSE AND FRIENDS MONDAY CHALLENGE who have the theme of Here Comes The Sun.

Ingredients for this card are:
Stamped Image  House Mouse Designs Spring - Dip Set
Papers  First Editions (I managed to forget the name of the pad between craft room and here!)
Medium  Distress Inks (ReInkers)
Sentiment  Hero Arts

I'd also like to sneak this in to
Crafty Catz Weekly Challenge - Summer Time
Paper Crafting Journey - Colour It Up

Once again, I am way behiind in commenting but I have been visiting lots of blogs.  Too much to see, too little time!  So, even if I haven't left you a message there is every chance that I have been drooling over your wonderful creations.  Sorry about that - need a tissue?

Winter Wonderland - Photo Inspiration

I'm late, I'm late .... for a very important date!  No, I'm not turning into a portly white rabbit, I'm late for my posting for this weeks WINTER WONDERLAND challenge!

This week we are asking you to use a gorgeous photograph as your inspiration, and this one has so much to fire your creativity.

I've used the blue, the baubles and the sparkle to create my DT card

Ingredients:
Stamped Image - Marianne Design
Medium - Distress Inks (ReInkers) and Rhinestone Stickles
Papers - Dovecraft
Sentiment - Wild Rose Studio

I hope to see you all over at the challenge at Winter Wonderland this week and don't forget to tell us in your post what inspired you.

One For The Boys (LLF)

My hair is possessed.  Seriously!  We left the house this morning with me looking all neat and tidy with a nice shine, and after ten minutes on the North Norfolk coast I looked like I'd been in a tumble drier on the hot cycle for an hour.  There I was thinking people were just being really friendly and smiley but, in retrospect, they were probably tiddling themselves laughing at the fluffy apparition!  Never mind, it stayed dry for us and we had a super day.  We even managed to sneak in an hour at Sheringham so Toad could see the steam train and I had the most amazing hot chocolate, complete with cream and a Flake.  Whoo!

Anyhoo, this week's challenge from Lili's Little Fairies is One For The Boys, and being a perverse Squirrel, I love boys cards.  I had been itching to use this stamp so it has been a happy day all round.

Can I just say that if all you are seeing are blank squares instead of pictures, if you right click on the square and then open the image in a new tab, you should be able to see the picture.  This seems to be an issue with Google Chrome at the moment and I can't figure it out, but I am seeing blank squares all over blogland!

Ingredients for this card are:
Stamped Image:  Lili Of The Valley - Tree House
Medium:  Distress Inks (ReInkers and Markers)
Papers:  First Editions - Boho Chic
Sentiments: Lili Of The Valley - Mixed Circular Sentiments
and Sentiment Tags

All My Favourite Things

Me again, second post today - you can tell I'm on holiday!!  For my first one either scroll down or click here for the Golden Wedding bears.

We've had a nice day with my parents, although it didn't start too well as Toad tried to break mum's fingers when he accidentally shut her hand in the car door.  She was trying to get in the back seat and was using the door post for support - unfortunately, Toad, in the front seat didn't realise this and closed his door.  There was a loud squeal and some muted swearing.  Thankfully she is ok but I think she will have a nasty bruise and a couple of stiff fingers for a while.  We had a nice lunch at a local garden centre and then a potter round.  Mum bought some more plants for her wonderful flower beds, dad spent his time looking at prices in the "houseware" department and tutting, Toad bought some tomato plants and I headed straight for the craft section (see, there was a very good reason for taking them there) and bought a lovely set of Artemio stamps that dad is referring to as "weeds" - I like to think of them as hedgerow plants!

Anyhoo, before we went out I made my entry for this months Penny Black And More At Allsorts Challenge who have the very difficult theme of My Favourite Things.  Now, you would think that would be easy wouldn't you?!  Not on your nelly.  Here is my card:

Ingredients for this card are:
Stamped Image - Penny Black Hedgehog Frame
Medium - Distress Inks (ReInkers)
Papers - First Editions - Boho Chic
Sentiment - Penny Black
Extras - Retro flower punches and Card Candi

And my favourite things?  All of the above.

I would also like to enter this for the challenges are
Oldie But A Goodie - Anything Goes
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes

Golden Wedding Bears

A little while ago, one of my bus buddies asked if I would make a Golden Wedding card for his parents.  I was thrilled that he had asked me, but then fear set in.  I've made a few Golden Wedding cards lately and find them a bit daunting.  Anyhoo, thankfully he gave me a steer and said "bears"!

After many weeks of tossing ideas around, I thought I had finally better get on with it before they celebrate their Diamond anniversary and this is what I made.

Ingredients:
Stamped Images:  Lili of The Valley - Shall We Dance and Love Boat
Medium: Distress Inks (ReInkers) and H2Os
Papers  Prima Sun Kissed and Gold textured mirri card
Sentiment  Lili of the Valley Vintage Sentiments, 50 using Cuttlebug dies
Corners  Can't remember the make but they are big and worked well on the 8x8 card

We're taking my parents out for lunch today so I need to go and find something to wear that dad won't comment on, loudly, about how fat it makes me look (you've just got to love them).

Hugs Sxx

Anything Goes at Lili's Little Fairies

Morning all!  Been having a mooching morning so far - had a long lie in, and then watched the Queen's Thanksgiving Service from St Paul's.  Hope your extended Bank Holiday (in the UK) is an enjoyable one.

As my previous attempt at the Lili's Little Fairies Anything Goes challenge wasn't one of my best, I thought I'd have another go, so here is a clean and simple card using one of the sweetest Lili girlie stamps.

Ingredients for this little card are:
Medium - Distress Inks (ReInkers)
Papers - Basic Grey

We're having a lazy day at home today.  Yesterday we went to a local farm park where I cuddled a month old baby donkey and a goat tried to eat my engagement ring.  It was so cold there, the wind was coming straight from Siberia I think.  Tomorrow we are taking the Oldies out for lunch somewhere and on Thursday, weather permitting, we are going to hop on a train and head into Norfolk for a day at the seaside.  Whatever you are up to, I hope it's fun!

Hugs, Sxx

Ready, Teddy ..... Go!

Afternoon all.  How are you?  How is your Bank Holiday weekend weather?  Wet and cold here.  I feel so sorry for all the street parties that have been organised, but I am sure they will have a fab time anyway, it's all part of being British!

I've been catching up with some DT jobs, but I could not resist having a play with the new READY TEDDY GO challenge One For The Boys

Ingredients for this little card are:
Stamped Image Craftwork Cards Alfie Bear - With Love
Medium  Distress Inks (ReInkers)
Papers Basic Grey for hand cut bunting, edged in Fired Brick Distress Marker
Matting Layer White card inked in Distress Ink Fired Brick

Think I still have time for a bit more crafting before dinner so I'm off!

Thank You Princess

A couple of weeks ago, I was very lucky and won a candy from the ever lovely and out-of-this-world talented Sylvia Zet.  I won three sheets of the new Wee Stamps toppers featuring Sylvia's images which are being sold by The Hobby House - you can find them here.

Not only is she the most amazing artist with her totally adorably and huggable images, but Sylvia is one of the sweetest ladies around.

And as I was always brought up to say thank you for gifts, I bit the bullet and have made Sylvia a thank you card using one of her own images (yeah, I know - brave or stupid??).

Ingredients for this card are:
Medium: Distress Inks (ReInkers) (for image) and Pads (for matting layers)
Papers:  Dovecraft - Back To Basics I and III
Extras: Cheery Lynn corner die, Martha Stewart border punches
Sentiment: Hero Arts
Hidden Extra:  A couple of prayers that it works ok!

Right then, off downstairs with me to do wifey things, like cooking dinner, before we settle down to watch The Voice UK final.  Who's going to win?  My money is on Bo.

LIM Colour Challenge and Say Hello

Morning all, business first, here I am with my only red white and blue card of the year so far - this is for this week's LESS IS MORE challenge

This feels almost lazy, a couple of Cheery Lynn dies and some papers from my scraps box, finished off with a Personal Impressions sentiment!

And now the sweet part ..... let me introduce you to Cleo

I must stress that she isn't mine!!  My mate Ali sadly had to have her cat Twinks put to sleep three weeks ago.  And this morning we collected Little Miss Cleo from the rescue shelter.  I have to say, she has stolen my heart, she is such a total poppet.  She's quite relaxed, very purry, and was on Ali's lap within half an hour.  She is still very young (the shelter thought about two, but I'd be surprised if she was much more than a year) and she is perfectly adorable.

Hope you are all going to have super weekends.  Mine has started well.

Pocket or Pants?

Hello all.  Well, there are times you know, there are times when I create something and think "yeah, that's not bad" and then there are times (more than the others) when I think "what possessed you?" and this was one of those times.

My effort for this week's LILI'S LITTLE FAIRIES challenge of Anything Goes started off as an idea for a pocket card.  I'd never made one and thought it was about time I put that right.

How difficult can a pocket be?  We've all seen them and know exactly what they look like.  So why does my pocket look more like a pair of pants?!  I guess the frilly edge doesn't really help matters ......

Still, at least the pocket filling, otherwise known as a tag, worked out much better!

I love this little bear!

The ingredients for this disaster are:  Stamped Image Lili Of The Valley - Patchwork Bunch Of Balloons,  Medium Distress Inks (ReInkers), Papers a mixture of Basic Grey, Sentiments both Lili Of The Valley  Border Punch Martha Stewart  Finishing Touches stunt-double stitching

Not quite sure what my darlin' dad is going to make of this!!
