Morning all, business first, here I am with my only red white and blue card of the year so far - this is for this week's LESS IS MORE challenge
This feels almost lazy, a couple of Cheery Lynn dies and some papers from my scraps box, finished off with a Personal Impressions sentiment!
And now the sweet part ..... let me introduce you to Cleo
I must stress that she isn't mine!! My mate Ali sadly had to have her cat Twinks put to sleep three weeks ago. And this morning we collected Little Miss Cleo from the rescue shelter. I have to say, she has stolen my heart, she is such a total poppet. She's quite relaxed, very purry, and was on Ali's lap within half an hour. She is still very young (the shelter thought about two, but I'd be surprised if she was much more than a year) and she is perfectly adorable.

Fab card and cute little cat...
That card is gorgeous Squirrel but my goodness that kitten is just the cutest thing I have ever seen! She looks like my two rescue kittens - we didn't get them from a shelter though: we witnessed them being flung from the window of a moving car and saved them then...I really don't know how anyone could do something like that, but it was definitely their loss, our gain! :)

Adorable wee kitty, I miss mine awfully, but could not get another with Harry taking up much of the flat..love your sweet card, I have had terrible trouble with my leaf die, but finally got it sussed last night and I was pulling it out backwards instead of forward,now and it comes out much easier...duh!!

oooh! Look at Miss Cleo! She looks like she's pondering her next bit of trouble, that won't be her fault at all, no siree, but somehow it finds her, just ask her, Miss Innocence. LOVE the less is more card. I do love clean and simple cards but I feel some serious twitches coming on when I make them, like I'm cheating or something.
Gorgeous card Squirrel but now to the important bit - how lovely is CLEO? We've just lost our cat after 18 happy years and although I've said "never again" looking at Cleo I could be swayed!
