I make no bones about it, this card is shamelessly CASEd from a layout that the very talented Annette uses - I love this twist on a CAS design and really wanted to give it a go myself. So thanks Netty for the inspiration from your fabulous cards.
This cutie is Stampavie (Penny Johnson) Little Love Bear
and he is currently on sale for an amazing price at The Stamp Basket
I've painted him with Distress Inks (ReInkers)
Papers are from the Authentique Floral pad
Sentiment is Hero Arts
Border punch is Martha Stewart
I'm chuffed with how this turned out, although it isn't a patch on Netty's!
Hugs to all, Squirrel xx

I love your card hun; those gorgeous pink papers and the amazing match of tone of pink in the pretty gingham ribbon. That punch is lovely too, really deep and detailed. I adore the pale colouring on the cute bear too, and the white on his face to accentuate his features. It's perfect, and I definitely can't take any of the glory. You've made it your own, and it's lovely.
I really like the white border around the edge too, I did this yesterday (cos usually I put the papers right up to the edge of the card) and it definitely gives it a different look.
Have a lovely Sunday hun. It's pouring with rain here (as predicted) so I doubt I'll be venturing very far today. I'll be settled with a latte and my Reinkers. Hopefully I won't dip my brush in my coffee by mistake though! Gonna give the Bristol Board one more chance!
Have a lovely Sunday.
Hugs

Gorgeous card Squirrel, adorable image, wonderful colouring and fabulous layout too.

I have very much thought of CASEing this fab layout and love your interpretation of it. The image is so cute and if that box is full of choccies then there is no way that tiny bear can eat them all so maybe he will share them with us?!
I can't quite believe it but it's actually sunny here right now! And I am sat inside catching up on my fave blogs whilst the Liverpool match from yesterday is on in the background - hubby is watching it!
Hope you're having a good Sunday :-)
Big hugs, Kat xx
