It Would Be Rudy Not To

Evening all, sorry for today's late appearance, we had a bit of a rough night with the little chap, and I was up several times, so I'm not really firing on all cylinders.  He's only just, in the last quarter of an hour, had his first meal since the painkillers wore off yesterday afternoon.

Anyhoo, I do have a card for you and it going to be entered at A Gem Of A Challenge - Anything Goes

This is a Pink Gem Design stamp - in polymer - and I think was one of the first of Janet's designs that I bought.  He is not available as a stamp any more but you can find a similar one as a digi called
Painted with Distress Inks (ReInkers)
Papers are DoCrafts/Papermania First Noel
Martha Stewart stars border punch
Sentiment by Wild Rose Studio
Photo corners and gold rope from stash

I do understand the reason that many companies are moving over to digi, but I do mourn the loss of  being able to choose a real stamp (although there are some that would say I have enough stamps already without needing more rubber, but that's not the point).  Not everyone has the ability to use digi stamps, and I think it is the removal of choice that bugs me most.  Sorry, mini rant there.

Right then guys, going to dash, there is a very sad little furry fella who needs some loving.

Hugs, Squirrel xx

Another gorgeous Christmas card, Rudolph is so funny and you didn't forget his famous red nose.
I too am a fan of the reall stuff, this means rubber and the ink of my choice :-)

Hugs,

Lins

Poor Vince you make sure he gets lots of TLC as I'm sure you will without say, hope the poor little chap feels better soon.

I agree with you about rubber and digis I so prefer rubber it somehow feels more like you properly create something but digis have the advantage of being resizable..
Fab card as always take care and look after that poorly puddy cat.

He's gorgeous hun, I love your colouring too, and the fab papers.
I know what you mean about rubber stamps, I've gone full circle and mine are making a come back after a couple of fights with the printer (where it won!)
Hope you and Vince both have a better night's sleep tonight.

Awwww poor Vince, I hope he is feeling better now and that you both have a good nights sleep.
Your card is gorgeous, adorable image and wonderful colouring. I do prefer using real stamps too.
Sending you and Vince big hugs

So, so cute, Squirrel.

I agree about 'real' stamps...besides, I have an ink jet printer, so I can't put any glitter glue, or any other water based products near my printed images, or I finish up with a ghastly mess.

Hugs to you and Vince,
Jennifer. x

So cute, love that image. I do love using digis, so easy and great that you can resize but I do love my rubber, somehow it seems more like I own it and I do love to stamp so I know exactly what you mean. Hugs to Vince and to you x

So sorry that Vince is in pain now the pain killers have worn off. I hope he is better today.

Gorgeous card and stamp. I agree it is a shame that stamps are getting harder to purchase.

Hi Squirrel,

Love this!

Yes it bugs me too about the stamps but everyone wants digis these days.... so we are stuck with stock that was expensive to have produced.... this has put us off having more polymer stamps produced
