Foxy

For the last two challenges at Fantasy Stampers my card has been the first entry, so I had to chuckle when Jan commented that she was "missing me" this time!  Yep, Tail-End-Charlie is late again.

But I am here now, but I think I made a bit of a boo-boo with this little card.   I have, as you can see made it as a Valentine but on looking at the critters more carefully I actually think this is meant to be parent and child!  Now I am not condoning that kind of marlarky at all, I mean who sends a Valentine to their parent?!  That would be strange.  I can just imagine my dad's face.  On the other hand, he thinks I have lost the plot anyway so maybe I could get away with it, if I dared to try.  I prefer to think of it as an in-love couple and I am sticking to that.

So the stamp is Tiddly Inks - My I Love You
Painted rather badly with Distress Inks (ReInkers)
Sentiment is from the LOTV Love Sentiments set
And the papers are BoBunny Autumn Song collection

And that's it, bijou!

Hope your Friday is a good one - it is another gloriously warm and sunny day here.
Not.

Hugs to all, Squirrel xx

This is adorable Squirrel. I wouldn't worry, there was a man at the tills in Asda yesterday paying for 4 Valentines cards along with his grocery shopping. The till assistant made a comment about him sending so many and he said that they were all to send to his daughter's as they get jealous if he just sends to his wife and they don't get any. He did say that he buys his wife's card in a bit more up market place. Lol!!!

Have a great weekend sweetie.

Hugs

So am I off my rocker because I'm sending a Valentine to my mum? She'll expect one you know, because I make cards and it is a card making holiday. And she sent me one, a folded and cut heart that she then made fancy with a single hole punch (like you'd find in an office-quite clever really)..... Anyway, I think your card makes a fine Valentine card. So there! The Princess Has Spoken!

Great to have you back, hun and I love your Valentine - I think they could easily be a cute little foxy 'loving couple'. Thanx for your support at Fantasy Stampers and good luck.
Big hugz, Jan (DT) xx

My hubby is 6'6" tall and towers above me, so this could be me and him. He's also got quite long eyelashes like the bigger fox! ;0)

Looks fab to me hun, and what's this rubbish about poor painting. I think you need your eyes testing hun, cos it's lovely. Really cute foxy image too.

I think it works just fine as a Valentine's image - adults come in different sizes too - I bet no-one would even have noticed if you didn't point it out!
And you know what I'm going to say next... your colouring looks great to me - lol! I think the shading is just right :-)
Big hugs, Kat xx
