BIRTHDAY (DT) In The Pink

Hello Pink fans!  It's a new challenge over at IN THE PINK and our celebratory theme for this fortnight is BIRTHDAYS.

I work with a lady who didn't want anyone to know it was her birthday, didn't want any celebrations blah blah blah, but of course, we all ignored that and made a big fuss of her, and lots of cards too, and she loved it.  Even the biggest birthday grump loves to receive happy cards!

So here is my DT make to share with you:

So, for this pink sweetie I have used
CC Designs Swiss Pixie Birthday Birgitta
Painted with Distress Inks (ReInkers) and fussy cut
Cherry Blossom cardstock from Hunkydory
and My Favorite Things Die-Namics Happy Birthday To You die

and our sponsor for this challenge is

Hugs to all
Squirrel xx

What a lovely card! Not all birthday grumps love surprises though. We filled our grump's office with balloon (non helium). He was so grumpy about it, he was stabbing them with scissors and trying to pop them and grumbling. Then he tossed them out his door. Every time he'd leave his office there there were in the hallway. He grumble and kick at them. It really became quite entertaining for the rest of us. He didn't want to be older, later subjecting himself to "procedures" and the like. Pfft!
