Hello everyone, hope this finds you well and itching to get crafty. So, it is a new challenge day over at AS YOU LIKE IT and the theme this time is rather tricky......... we would like you to use your FAVOURITE DIE.
I think they should have renamed this challenge as Mission Impossible. I started off with a huge pile of "favourite" dies on my desk, and gradually whittled them down by the number of times they have been used, and practicality. They I got some back from the discarded pile, threw out (not literally) some others, started all over again, and I still couldn't narrow it down to just one favourite. So, this is what you are getting
So, for this I have used
CC Designs Nancy With Sunflowers stamp
painted with Distress Inks (ReInkers) with a few Polychromos for her hair
I have used two Crealies stitched rectangle dies
I believe the word die is an Impression Obsession word edger die
and as for the top border .......... hmmmmm (missing packaging)
Matting layer is First Edition cardstock
I made this for a very special friend who has been having a tough time lately
but she has received it so it is now safe to post here.
Our sponsor for this challenge is
£10.00
So now you can go and give yourselves the same kind of headache I had, but don't forget to enter the challenge to show us what you made!
Hugs to all
Squirrel xx

What a lovely card; I would be difficult for me as well with so many dies I like and use, not really one favourite here as well. Hugs
I quite agree mission impossible, have so many fave dies. Gorgeous cute card, guaranteed to cheer anyone up
Might as well ask if I have a favourite child! Where to start with that..... Card is super cute and I love the word die at the bottom. Gorgeous colouring and the perfect paper as always. Xx

Ooh I love this. The colouring is stunning. Hmm, there's gonna be a lot of stuff on my card because I have a zillion favourite dies :-) Hugs, Jayne xxx
Gorgeous Squirrel! I love all the dies I own haha! I don't have a huge budget for crafty stuff, so if I actually buy a die, it's because I've been eyeballing it for a long time and NEEDED to have it :P So all my dies are my favourites!
You've coloured this image in beautifully and I love the papers :)

Love your "favourites" Squirrel and you've showcased them perfectly. What a sweet stamp too xx
Gorgeous card, with a cute image. I agree with you about mission impossible regarding a favourite die, I wouldn't know where to start.

A great choice of 'favourites' and I know what you mean about choosing. I liked Ruth's comment above!!! Fabulous card and I love Nancy's hair, your colouring of the blond is absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful.

Love the dies you have eventually chosen for this card, very pretty. The image is so cute too and I hope it has brightened your friends day with it's sweetness.

So which ones of those dies is your favorite? Or is it a tie. I just saw that challenge and thought "FAVORITE DIE?!!" FOr my most used die, it is probably something dull like a circle. Now I'm curious if I have a favorite shaped die. Nothing comes to mind but I'm sure if I looked thru them all I'd find a lovely one I would kill to keep.
BTW, your card is very sweet!
Fave die is a really hard challenge...Mission Impossible is about right! I love your choice of dies though and I definitely associate stitched shapes and pretty borders with your fabby style.
This is a gorgeous cheerful design and you have painted the cute scene masterfully :-)
Big hugs, Kat xx
Fabulous card z
