That's Just Shocking!

I didn't get much crafting done at the weekend due to the final days of the Olympics and it being too hot in the studio (I like the sound of that, studio - much better than a cramped corner of the conservatory).  I was wilting after just 20 minutes on Saturday.

Anyhoo, the end result of these traumatic weather conditions is that apart from a couple of DT cards that I can't show you yet, I have nothing new.  How shocking is that?!

So, I have been having a rummage around in my pics for a card that I haven't posted yet and found this one

Ingredients are:
Stamped Image: Stamping Bella/Mo Manning - Angelina's Balloons
Medium: Distress Inks (ReInkers)
Papers: Dovecraft Back To Basics - can't remember if they are I or II
Sentiment: Hero Arts

I guess that means that I really need to pull the acorn out of my tail and get crafting, otherwise this will be a very empty blog soon!

Hugs, Sxx

Hiya Squirrel, that image made me laugh - it's just what my Emma's hair does when she goes near a balloon! Love all that purple too.

Loving the purple crazy lady! My hair looks like that all the time!! I love how you've coloured this one - it's just perfect. Every time I visit you I want to go and play with the distress inks - for me this ends in a giant hissy fit! You make it look deceptively easy! Super hugs, Jayne xx

I hope you shift that acorn... sounds painful! She's a sweetie but two balloons?...... greedy guts! I'm a bit behind with my commenting but I'm just having a nosey at the cards you've posted since my last viist. Your LiM is fabulous. I love the letters done like that - seriously clever inking! - and the cat has stolen my heart!! As have the cute bird cards you posted before that, and the new baby boy card.... hey, they're all amazing! You're one talented Squirrel!

Whoa! That image totally made me laugh. I remember as kids rubbing balloons on our heads to make all our hair stand up. Great card, the background paper and the coloring and just all of it. Two squirrelly thumbs up. And get that acorn out of your bottom! That's gotta hurt!

Fun card Squirrel. I can relate to that. Haven't been able to use my hair tongs since I broke the arm. Began to look akin to a loo brush.
