In The Pink (DT) Flower Power

Morning all.  I have been a terrible blogger recently and only seem to be popping up on Thursdays with Design Team pieces.  I promise I will try harder, but my change of jobs in April means I have fewer hours in my day now, which makes evening blogging much more of a challenge!  Anyhoo, it's a Thursday, so here I am with another Design Team make.

It's a new challenge from those lovely ladies over at IN THE PINK and this time around the challenge is a perennial favourite (the gardeners among you will spot that pun) and it is FLOWER POWER.

It's up to you how you use flowers on your make, but we want PINK and we want FLOWERS!

Here is my DT make:

So, I have used Dyanne from Whimsy Stamps/Wee Stamps
and painted her with Distress Inks (ReInkers) with some Polychromos assistance
Papers are Nitwits from LOTV (now retired sadly)
The flowery border punch on the gingham is a Martha Stewart punch
and the white daisy border is also a Martha Stewart punch
Custom sized card base
I've not added a sentiment as she could be used for so many occasions

Our sponsor for this petalicious challenge is BUGABOO STAMPS

Looking forward to seeing you there.

Hugs to all

AYLI (DT) Fave Colour Combo

So, it's AS YOU LIKE IT challenge day today, and this one really had me scratching my head.....we would like you to use your favour colour combo please!

I thought I knew what my favourite colours were until I started, but then I had several combinations competing with each other to be used, so I went back to my ink palette to see which colours I use most often, and they are .....

Pink, turquoise and purple

So, I have used one of my favourite stamps - this is Happy Twila from CC Designs
Painted with Distress Inks (ReInkers)
MFT stitched circle frame
Dovecraft Happy Birthday banner stamp
and the box made with my WRMK Box Punch Board
Papers used are an assortment of whatever was to hand in the right colours!

Our sponsor for this challenge is

£12 gift voucher

OK, so off you go to find your favourite colour combo, and then come back and share it with us

AYLI (DT) Favourite Song or Film

Hello peeps, it's AS YOU LIKE IT Thursday today (personally I'd like mine asleep in bed, but sadly I'm at work instead) and we have one of my most favourite challenges for you this time.

We would like you to be inspired by your Favourite Song or Film
and please explain your choice.

I always have too many ideas for this theme, so this time I went with my first thought, and stuck with it!  If ever I had to choose ten films to take to a desert island, all ten of them would be Pixar animations.  Every film they produce is in a class of its own, but I shall always have a soft spot for Toy Story.

Thankfully there's no snake in my boots, or his!
I have used Young Rebel Revolver Hero from Nellie Snellen
Painted with Distress Inks (ReInkers)
Sentiment is from the MFT The Whole Herd stamp set
Cloudy sky sponge inked with a home made stencil and Distress Inks
Matting layer is a piece of Papermanic kraft card
Custom sized card base

You have two weeks to enter the challenge, but of course you will need to know that
our sponsor for this one is

who are offering a $10 gift certificate to our winner

Looking forward to seeing your makes.
