Easter Funnies (DT) Dies To Die For

Morning all, just wanted to wish you a (slightly early) Happy Easter, and what better way to do that than with a super cheeky but very cute Easter Bunny!

I used a Martha Stewart border die for the grass.  I originally had just the one layer but it needed more depth so I punched again from a darker green and layered that behind.

And would you look at that, real string!  OK, it is baker's twine, but it is probably the nearest to ribbon I will ever get, rofl.

I was going to do masking for the additional eggs by the Bunny's feet, but in the end I just stamped and fussy cut them.  There is a mixture of Distress Inks (ReInkers) and Polychromos Pencils here.

Favourite Easter Character (DT) As You Like It Challenge

Morning all!  Oh my goshness, can you believe we are halfway through March already?  Only a week and a bit and I shall be on my Easter holibobs, hurrah!

Morning all, happy weekend!

If you have seen the new Stamping Bella release then you will know that there is an awful lot of gnome-ness coming your way.

I am finding these little critters irresistible so I made my parents' anniversary card using a pair from the last release.  It's their 59th in a couple of weeks, and honestly, this could be their wedding photo, lol!

It's me with a scheduled post this morning because I'm hopefully on the way for a haircut, snow permitting!  I'm sure we used to cope with more snow than this when I was younger, but I guess we're out of practice - or the local authorities are actually now so short of money that they can't get the gritters/ploughs out.

Anyhoo, it's always good to push yourself now and again so I decided to challenge myself and create something more "delicate" than usual.  It was so hard to resist adding more colour!

AYLI (DT) Single or Multiple Layers

Well goodbye February, hello March!

Morning all, time for a new challenge theme over at AS YOU LIKE IT and this time it is Single or Multiple Layers (your favourite, and why).

The cardstock I use for my base cards, although good and sturdy, does not take watercolouring very well, so I favour the multiple layers option which allows me to use my Bristol Board for the Distress Inks.  Sometimes it is only a couple of layers, but that's still ore than one so it has to be, by definition, multiple!

Thanks to the fabbie die, this looks like it has more layers than it really does, in fact there are only three, the base, the coloured papers, and the chicks
