Gone Fishing

Well, it's Monday and it's back to work for me after a week of chillin' (snuffling with a stinky cold) and crafting, so this morning is going to come hard.  If only I had bought that winning lottery ticket this week!

I could get used to a life of leisure, just like this little chap for my second LOTV Design Collective card for November.

Painted with Distress Inks (ReInkers)
Papers are Dovecraft Back to Basics
Die is from Whimsy
Baker's Twine from stash
I chose not to add a sentiment until he was needed as I couldn't decide what occasion
he would suit best

Now, where did I put my worms...?

Hugs to all
Squirrel xx

I dunno - I'm missing for a couple of days and you have created a pair of smashers! The gorgeous little fireman and that perfect sentiment for the likes of me (endless candles!)... and then this little fisherman! I do hope he doesn't hook that fish though...... I think he may lose the battle if he does!

Big Hugs

Aww..that is the life..sitting fishing at the pond, no work, just leisure time..I cannot wait to retire..just had 9 days off and back to work yesterday, and I too could get quite used to staying at home..Fabulous card and I love this cute image.

He's lovely Squirrel, and beautifully coloured. The twine is the perfect addition and you always seem to have the right dies for the card! Hope today wasn't too bad hun.

I hope your week is going ok and you haven't run off to go fishing! This little chap looks quite chilled out...at least until he hooks that huge fish and it pulls him in - lol!
The chevrons and gingham are a lovely combo and so clever that they give the feeling of water and hills as a backdrop to the cute image :-)
Big hugs, Kat xx
