Another Happy Bear

We still haven't had a chance to get the laptop fixed.  Not only has it taken me a disheartening 40 mins to log in this morning, something random is now happening with the keyboard.  If you find there are a load of repeated letterssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss (yes, like that) I do apologise.  I am too scared to press the delete key and I have lost whole posts before now.

Anyhoo, as I am here I had better share a card with you:

Yes, it's another one of those Happy Bears from Lili of The Valley
Painted with Distress Inks (ReInkers)
Sentiment is from the same set
Cloud shaped die is from L'il Inkers Border Builders set
Papers are from a pad of Forever Friends

We are planning on a vegetable weekend, similar to being couch potatoes but without so much tv.  In a moment I shall be headed to the conservatory to be a crafting carrot as I have some orders to deal with, and Toad is currently being a model train turnip in the spare room.

Whatever vegetable you are being this weekend, I hope it's a tasty one.

Hugs to you all
Squirrel xx

I'm slightly concerned with your fascination with vegetables, but as long as you're not sniffing the cabbage water, then I guess we're safe. I love your little bear, he's beautifully coloured, the shading is perfect and I love the golden brown and pink cheeks. That stitched die is lovely too. Have a lovely crafting day. And get that pooter fixed so we can see more of you again. :0)

Your computer problems sound awful and ever so frustrating...hope you can solve them soon.

So cute! I've been trying to resist buying new rubber...but it's getting harder to do that each time I see you post a card using these new LotV bears...adorable!

In answer to your question - I do a bit of both...I cut the card then emboss...but often have to trim again, especially if I'm using several different embossing folders, as they all 'shrink' the card by different amounts, depending on how intricate the pattern is!

Hope you soon get your pooter problems sorted!

I like the idea of being other veggies than a couch potato. Crafting carrot sounds nifty but I'm thinking of being a Reading Rutabaga instead.

Sweet card! And not too many extraneous SSSsssssssss

You are such a bad influence. I have done a good job of resisting these bears and the stitched dies then I come here and my resolve wavers. Bad Squirrel. Hmmm, another delicious offering. Love this colour combo and that image is coloured to perfection. Am drooling ;-) Hugs, Jayne xx
