Bit of a Beast

Hello peeps.  Sorry that I haven't been around much lately, there's a lot going on in my life at the moment and my mojo is missing again, presumed dead this time.  Even new stash isn't really lighting my fire that much, which is always bad news, especially taking into account the volume that's been plopping onto the doormat lately.

Anyhoo, I managed to slap this little chap onto Facebook yesterday before work but didn't have time to blog him, so here he is.

I "may" have fallen in love with a new-to-me stamp designer
This critter and the cake sentiment are from the Monster Party stamp set by the lovely Gerda Steiner
If you haven't been over to her site, and you like cute, then you really should pay a visit.
Painted with Distress Inks (ReInkers)
Wood effect paper from Craftwork Cards Potting Shed pad
Happy Birthday sentiment by Hero Arts
Green gingham candy from Craftwork Cards
Goopy border punch from Martha Stewart
Stitched edge die from My Favourite Things

Now that surprised me, quite a list of ingredients for such a simple card!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Hugs to all
Squirrel xx

PS.  I won't even begin to start ranting about Google blocking followers who don't have a Google account.  Remember, you can still keep up to date with me by Bloglovin' or signing up for emails

This card made me smile Squirrel, great design. I'm sure your mojo isn't dead!! Just on holiday in the Caribbean to escape the endless rain if it's got any sense!! xx

Well if your mojo is dead and you make fab cards like this mine must be mummified and in a pyramid still to be discovered. Love it of to check out your recommendation now.

Well as monsters go.... he's a cutie - and coloured perfectly too! It's a bit what I look like when I don't get a slice of cake.. hmm, well OK, I probably look like that most of the time, but my horns are retractable! Loving the top wooden layer with that fabbie edge die too!

Hugs

Oh my heck! This is too too cute! I'm sorry about your mojo being missing. The presumed dead part is a bit worrisome. I do not when my mojo is gone it seems like I buy more stuff (trying to kick start it I think). Sounds like you are in the same boat. Or... the same delivery truck.

I re- re- re-followed you. I got the boot during that whatever that changeover was. I have a google account though and have for awhile, guess I should use it.

I get so frustrated when my mojo is gone - it just disappears! You're there making lovely cards, then all of a sudden, you can't anymore...what's up with that? SO ANNOYING! You're still working with the same equipment, same brain, same everything but nothing looks right, and when mine is gone, I can't even colour any more...it's the oddest thing!

This card is fantastic though Squirrel, doesn't look to me like your mojo's gone anywhere :D If you can make something this cool with no mojo you're onto a good thing :)

Hugs

I don't think your mojo's gone anywhere hun, but I know how you feel. Keep your chin up. Things usually happen for a reason.
