Afternoon everyone. Hope you are enjoying your weekend - it's "scorchio" here in the east, bright blue skies, sunny, and heading towards 30C. You probably know that I am limp lettuce when it comes to hot weather, so it will come as no surprise that I have been taking refuge indoors and watching the qualifying for tomorrow's F1 Belgian Grand Prix!
The craft space is started to get back to normal after all the upheaval of the plumbing so I hope to be able to get inky again very soon, but in the meantime here is something I made a couple of weeks ago.
This is James Butterflies from LOTV
Painted, as usual, with Distress Inks (ReInkers)
The Hello die is by Penny Black - I had to cut the twirly tail off the O for it to fit the card - I cut it three times to make a word stack
Design papers are First Edition: Boho Chic
We were going to go and see the Oldies this afternoon, but mum was otherwise engaged so Toad is cutting the grass and I am going to experiment with my newly delivered Ground Espresso Distress Ink. Rosie has her nose in the biscuit dish, some things don't change.
Hugs to all
Squirrel xx

Squirrel, this is beautiful. Your colouring is gorgeous and I love the colours you have chosen with that lovely die cut detail. I have been wilting today too and have spent the afternoon with my feet up watching La Vuelta Cycling..I'm pretty sure I burnt up a lot of calories!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Beautiful card squirrel
I love this image and your colouring is great xx
Wonderful painting, as usual, Squirrel and that hello die is fabulous. Too hot here in Dorset too, but a hefty downpour at 6.00 cleared the air thankfully xx
This is gorgeous Squirrel, adorable James and stunning colouring. The sentiment die works so well with your fabulous design.

Hello back James. You are beautifully coloured in :-)
Love this card Squirrel - great idea to use patterned paper for the sentiment.

James is coloured to perfection and the graded sentiment is wonderful. Looks fab. xx
Saturday was indeed scorchio and I had travelled to family for the day and was totally unprepared for such heat...no shorts or hat! I did have a great excuse to eat ice cream to cool down though...specifically a white Magnum...my fave!
James looks so fresh and cool though on your fab CAS design, although you'd think he'd be a bit toasty with all that fur!
I love layered up word dies and the stripy paper you used looks wonderful :-)
Big hugs, Kat xx
James looking at his absolute best!! Love the CAS design and the gorgeous coloured DP you used for the hello!
