Flittering Fairies

Afternoon all.  How are you?  It's dull, grey, cold and miserable here at the moment, and I am struggling to feel really awake.  It might have something to do with having spent the night with a very demanding young man desperate for reassuring cuddles.  I think Vince may just about have forgiven me for Vetgate, but he certainly won't have forgotten just yet.  Any suggestions for getting him back into the carrier for next time would be appreciated!

I have a for the fun of it card to share with you today - I have made enough Christmas cards for this year now (I had a count up, 120) but am finding it difficult to break away from making more of them.  Yesterday I forced myself to make a birthday card instead!

I have used the Whimsy/Wee Flower Fairies designed by Sylvia Zet
Painted with Distress Inks (ReInkers)
Just Wanted To Say sentiment is Hobby Arts
Happy Birthday sentiment is Hero Arts
Matting layers are from a Papermania pad

Sweet and simple

Hugs to all
Squirrel xx

Haha, try getting feral cats into a box…I'd recommend some sort of hazmat suit! All the cats I have now started off as crazy, completely wild outside cats with histories of abuse, so we've had to make a LOT of kitty captures. We've used fresh fish, meat etc to lure them into the box, and with one of the more playful ones we had him play with a piece of string, then when we was really riled up for it, we put the string through one of the holes in the box so he just ran right in to get it…hahaha. Good luck anyway!

Your card is beautiful, love it :D

Good luck with Vince, my cat used to dig his claws in and had to be forced in his carrier. Fab card, love the use of the two images x

I'd recommend about 6 hands, each wearing inch thick gloves if I were you!
Fab card, and I know what you mean about having to force yourself to make something other than a Christmas card. I seem to struggle with that too. Plus I started making mine in Jan! :0)
Hope you and Vince had a lovely weekend. Did Toad get a look in on the snuggles front?!

"Sweet and simple" you say??? You didn't metion absolutely gorgeous!

Can't offer any advice about Vince and his basket...when I have to take Cookie or Pally to our vet, there is usually a fair bit of blood involved, and somehow it always seems to be mine! Why do these cute little furballs suddenly turn into ferocious lions whenever their 'going-to-the-vets basket materialises?????

Hugs,
Jennifer. x
