Inspired by Mrs B

Morning all, hope this finds you well, or getting better if you have been poorly.  There seem to be a lot of germs about already this "winter" and our office is rife with sore throats and coughs and colds, and the heating has only been on a week!  Thankfully I have managed to avoid it all so far, touch wood.

Now then, I don't know about you, but I get a lot of my inspiration from other crafters.  I have no shame in admitting it.  I visit their blogs and gaze for ages at their wonderful creations.  I have many sources of blog inspiration and one of them is the incredibly talented and all round wonderful Lorraine at Mrs B's Blog

So when I saw this card that Lorraine had made I just knew it was one I had to case in my own little way.

Here it is, it's not a patch on what Lorraine made

I have used LOTV Teddy With Penguin
Papers are LOTV/Nitwits Simple Joys and Frosty Christmas
Merry Christmas die from Memory Box
Papermania Glitter Dome gems

Hope you like it

Hugs, Squirrel xx

Hi, I am loving this card, I was tempted the other day to order this die, added it to my basket but never got around to checking out. I'm thinking I should go back and order it now after seeing your fab card!

It's lovely hun. That die really suits a perfect C&S style too.
And of course the cute cute cute image, I do love penguins and this little guy is just adorable. Love the shading on the bear. What colour DI do you use on your bears? I tend to use darks like Vintage Photo, but this is a lovely light colour perfect for a bear. My lights seem to look more orange when I've finished them, but yours still looks lovely and brown.

I really do like this with its fancy lettering. I have to say at first glance I thought those lines in the pattern were cuts, like you had cut up the greeting and very carefully pieced it back together. That would be fancy schmancy too.
