Afternoon all, how are we mid week then? Been a day of sunshine and showers, but more showers than actual sunshine - got caught in a belter of a downpour at lunchtime. Still, it will save on having to shower later. It's ok, I'm kidding!
Anyhoo, here I am with my entry for this week's SIMON SAYS STAMP challenge and I have a feeling it is going to be a busy one this time with a theme of Mother's Day/Special Girl.
I have made two Mother's Day cards for my beloved mum, a soppy and a silly, so I thought I might as well share them both with you but I can't as I've not taken a picture of the silly one yet. D'oh!

I've just realised that I've developed a bit of a "thing" for Mo Manning images lately but this one, "Kisses", from Penny Black is so big that it's not left room for anything else on the card! So I went for a pretty First Editions paper and a LOTV sentiment that says it all, keeping the card simple and letting the image do the talking. Image is painted in Distress Inks naturally ☺

I am the same as you, I have a thing for Mo Manning designs, I made loads of cards at Christmas with her images and everyone loved them.
I noticed that Penny Black "Slaptsick" cling stamps have a few of her images for sale and they are lovely. Debbiexx

Talking? Don't you mean doing all the SMOOCHIN'! LOL I love that you and Delphine both have a knack for picking images that, perfectly and brilliantly colored (whether by you in DI or by her in Copics), are amazing enough to carry off being center of attention with minimal adornment. I might be able to resist urges to adds bits and bobs and bows... but even if my coloring were up to your standards at this point, I am a gleefully tacky child with an unabashed addiction to glitter, glimmer and oooooh-shiny-ness and could not resist the Call of the Stickles.
