Going Crackers (Christmas, of course)

Afternoon all, hope this finds you well.  It finds me sneezing and snuffling, but what else would you expect now that I am on holiday from work.  Grrrrrrr.

Anyhoo, I haven't used many of my Lili of the Valley stamps since I stepped down from the Design Collective but now that I have started making my C cards I am back on track, and here I am today with a James which I am going to enter into their Facebook challenge, even though my CAS style doesn't suit the Lili look apparently.  My stamps, I'll use them how I want!

So, this is James with Christmas Cracker
Painted with Distress Inks (ReInkers)
Clearly Besotted sentiment
Crealies stitched rectangle die
MFT Die-Namics chevron die
Moss green Bazzil cardstock
Custome sized card base

and that's it, sweet and simple.

Feeling much happier now I have seen the Malaysian GP and Rosberg has stretched his lead over Hamilton by 23 points.  Good result for Jenson too on his 300th race start!

Hugs to all
Squirrel xx

  1. Hope you feel better soon, lovely card. I don't know why you say that about your cas style, you were on the team and Jen always makes cas cards and she was on the DT for years. James always looks good x

  7. Oh goodie! I'm glad I'm not the only one who has ruint their whole weekend and today with sniffles and snot. It' snot funny I say!

Lovely card. I like you CAS style, especially for C cards. I say no sense to go all out since the recipient will most like be drowning in cards anyway. (Hubby says wouldn't you want yours to stand out, but I'm too lazy really).

I adore that chevron border. Way cool!

  9. Well you've made a gorgeous card with James... and yes I agree - use your own stamps how you like!! Loving how you did that chevron too - I bought it but haven't used it yet.

  10. Hun, you can never go wrong with James in my book and with your beautifully soft colouring and focus on the main boy himself it's perfect. That die looks amazing, I can't get my head around how it works though!
