Today, after many months of deliberating, I thought I might have a rant and rave about the insidious/invidious nature of Facebook v Blogger, but you know what? I really haven't got the energy as I might well be talking to myself the way things are going these days.
Instead I bring you another Odd Dog sneak peek from Lili of The Valley - these little cuties will be available to purchase on 4 July.
This little chap is Sweet Dreams
Papers are LOTV?Raspberry Road Shabby Shack
Painted with Distress Inks (ReInkers)
Sentiment is an old LOTV one (retired)
Pet tag and bones are Whimsy dies Pet Accessories
Shaped die is Nestabilities
This grumpy old Squirrel will get grumpier as the week goes on, with the increasing temperatures and lack of sleep, but I will still be posting. Visit if you dare!
Hugs to all
Squirrel xx
This might possibly be my favourite Odd Dog so far and I love the paw shaped tag!! Hot days and nights do not make for a happy Sarah either ( I suffer migraine and associated sickness during long spells of sleeplessness), but on the bright side if the LOTV launch is at midnight at least I will be sure of missing any sell outs!! xx
ReplyDeleteAw so lovely.......now if only they were cats and not dogs!!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous Squirrel, such a sweet image and stunning colouring. I love the paw tag and bones too.
ReplyDeleteI am not keen on the hot weather either!
hugs Sue xx
Ooh I love this one!! Stunning design and gorgeous colours and papers! Just perfect!
ReplyDeleteUh oh why FB got your knickers in a twist? :-P lol

So cute Squirrel. Love your die cut accents.
ReplyDeleteI must say I'm not a huge fan of Facebook and only go on there cos I have to for 2 DT groups. I can't remember the last time I actually posted a status update and don't really see the need to tell people what I ate for lunch or 'check in' to post my location when I'm out an about. I prefer blogging as only the people who specifically want to visit have to suffer my ramblings. And as you know, I can ramble!!!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, since you didn't rant, I won't either!!
Instead I'll just ogle at your pup. He's adorable and I really love the par print tag die. Fab colouring and coordinating too.
Beautiful card Squirrel, I like the adorable image and the crossed bones

Squirrel, this is beautiful, your colouring is wonderful and I love the die cut paws and bones... I have given up trying to get Facebook and blogger to 'interface'! Also given up on linkwithin which despite loading and unloading and following loads of online tutorials, I still can not get to work! I don't really like technology!
ReplyDeleteHope you get some rest soon...
Sue...xxx
Love the picture and the die cuts and papers are fabulous! As for Facebook, I use it mostly for keeping in touch with others through Messenger, but for crafty things, I really love Instagram. If you haven't tried it, I would recommend. The atmosphere is much more pleasant than Facebook! Lots of lovely crafters and lots of inspiration 😊 xx
ReplyDeleteI'll grouch about them for you Squirrel. It bugs me that every time I open anything the links to these sites are alway "in your face". Don't they realise there are a few of us who don't give a damn!!!
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, what a delightful image and card :o)

I'm loving your gorgeous little cutie... these LOTV images are sure to be a sellout! You've designed a perfect card around him too hon!
ReplyDeleteNow about your FB 'un-rant'... I first joined FB as a way to keep in contact with my family (who are spread around a little - and to share photos of what they were up to etc... (I like to think that's what it's about).. And I'm pleased to say, the my daughters like me to see their pics too.. (some kids don't allow their parents to see their FB!!) It certainly makes the world a smaller place too as I have relatives and friends at a fair distance!
But now, my FB is full of cards - by people who maybe I've liked one of their posts a long time back. GRRR.. I don't understand that! I do wish I could filter somehow - but don't know how to. So I end up going through ticking 'hide post', till my finger is worn out! BUT I have to say, my own blog is networked to FB - it's done automatically in the ether somewhere, so I may be one of the irritating ones.. and I LOVE to share a creation I'm happy with on the FB page of the designer etc.. both for inspiration for other people, and to gain inspiration too! Regarding DT's being run through FB - it's often a lot easier that way provided all are happy......
Big hugs
Christine x
