Introducing.......

Most people had the Easter Bunny deliver them lots of chocolate goodies, but my Easter Bunny delivered something a darned sight more hairy than chocolate......

Meet Rosie.

This pretty little lady has come to us from the Blue Cross Centre.  She's had an eventful time as she had only been in the shelter for a week so she had moved from her home to the shelter and the shelter to us in the space of days.  It's no wonder the poor love is nervous and confused.

Having said that, she does have a confident streak and I think once she finds her paws we are going to have our hands full.  I am pleased to say that even though she is cautious, she is still enjoying being fussed.  On her terms, naturally.

I didn't think I was ready to re-home yet, but I have to say, I am pleased we have, and Toad is smitten with her.  I think she has become his other woman already, and it has only been two days!

Hugs to all
Squirrel (and Rosie) xx

  9. So, so happy for you Squirrel...and Toad and Rosie too. Rosie is gorgeous! She has quite a Rubenesque figure and a beautiful coat, so she has been obviously well cared for, and loved previously. She has certainly found kitty Nirvana, and I'm sure will settle in very quickly, with you both wrapped very firmly around her little paw.

    Hugs,
    Jennifer (and Cookie). xx

  17. Dear Rosie, you have found yourself in the most perfect home imaginable for a little kitty. You are one lucky little lady. Be nice to your new mummy and daddy, and give them lots of cheek rubs and the occasional tum fluffing. They will shower you with love and kibbies, and tell you how pretty you are.
Bug hugs from Auntie Annette and cousins Pickle and Arnie.
