Afternoon all, hope this finds you well - we've had a bit of a strange day and I'm feeling a bit out of sorts (we had some awful news earlier) but I had started this card yesterday and was determined to get it finished. I don't know about you, but crafting is my release valve - if I feel stressed or sad or just hassled, I go off to craft and within minutes of picking up a paintbrush or pretty papers I can feel the tension start to ebb away.
Anyhoo, I made this card for the In The Pink challenge whose theme is Get Well/Thinking Of You.
The stamp is LOTV Hugs
Coloured with Distress Inks (ReInkers) and Polychromos pencils
Papers are LOTV/Nitwits Always & Forever (patterns and solids)
Sentiment is Hero Arts
And those gorgeous striped candy dots are from My Mum's Craft Shop
We've had a weekend of sun, rain, thunderstorms, and this afternoon a brief monsoon - I could hardly see the shed for a while and we don't have a large garden. I am hoping that things pick up for the coming week as I don't really fancy trailing a rain coat, wellies and an umbrella everywhere we go!
Hugs to all

Hi hun, I'm so sorry to hear you've had some bad news. I hope it's nothing too serious. I know what you mean about crafting making things seem more manageable though, it's definitely good therapy, and your card is gorgeous. I love this image ;0) and those papers are also my faves too. Those candy dots do look good enough to eat too. Hope Vince is ok after his de-clawing (one more paw to do!) :0)
ReplyDeleteHuge holiday hugs
