Bedroom Colours

There are some challenges that I should stay well away from, but I never learn my lesson.  Well, I do, but after a while I end up there again, and I really ought to remember that I said I'd never do it again.  But I do.  Oh well, I guess there are some things I will never learn.  With any luck, as this is posting on a Monday, not many of you will see it.

Less Is More challenge theme this week is bedroom colours.  Well I admit it, my bedroom is mainly cream, but there is an interesting feature on one wall that inspired this card.

So, un-branded "window" shadow stamp
Rubber Stampede Teapot & Cup stamp
Watercoloured with Marvy le Plume II pens
Paper Smooches sentiment
4x4 card base

And the interesting feature?  There is one wall that is covered in test pot patches.  It was only meant to be there til we could choose a new colour, but it's kinda grown on me and has been there now for, erm, cough, over xxxx years!!  I did think about drawing stitches onto them to turn it into a patchwork quilt.

It looks as though many of you were out enjoying the sunshine yesterday and missed my post of Puddle Jumping Twila - you can find her here if you want a peek

Hugs to all

  8. I have lost count of how many rooms in our houses over the years have had paint tester patches for far too long! In fact, we have some in our en-suite right now although I have got as far as choosing and buying the paint...about 6 months ago...so maybe we'll get round to actually painting it in another 6 months!

I think the card turned out fab; great colours and I *really* want this sentiment set!

    Big hugs, Kat xx

  9. I like the idea of test spots on the wall just as interest, not to actually test the color... I mean that way you don't have to decide, you can just look at whatever spot of color fits your mood.

    Nicely colored card!

  10. There must be quite a few rooms with test pot colours on the walls... maybe not for as long as you had yours but your card based on them looks fab!
