A Bad Influence

Many years ago, my then best friend's mother told my mother that my friend wasn't coming to my birthday day-out as she considered that I was a bad influence.  I was 12 years old!
 
I have no idea how that idea formed in her mind.  I was a normal child, bit of a tomboy maybe, but not a bad kid.
 
It's strange what we consider to be a bad influence.  Many of my blogging pals are a bad influence, they lead me astray on a regular basis.  OK, there are times when I am easily influenced, it is such a simple job to lead me into temptation.  One of the worst and most frequent offenders for getting me to spend my pocket money is my dear pal Lisa (Wishcraft) who has caused me to buy more dies recently than I care to think about.

It's our AGM at work today - I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am about that prospect.  Not!

    nah, not a bad influence. A wise adviserers who tell/show you what you really "need". Imagine how "hard" it would be to crafty without all those dies and stamps and ... You know what I mean. ;)
    The image you used on your card is so cute that you don't need a whole lot of other things to make a beautiful card. I think the one your made is perfect!

    I'd say your friend is not bad influence but a blessing as she broadens the possibilities of your creativity :)
    About that mother, well, maybe she noticed she's losing control over her daughter and that caused her to look for reasons, for "culprits", instead of looking at the fact of life, that children don't belong to us, that we have to let them go...

    I know what you mean, that pesky Lisa's a bad influence on me too.
    Love that bow die though, so perhaps you may also be a bad influence after all!! LOL
    I can hear hubby saying to me "Put the laptop down and no-one need get hurt!". Just one more die won't hurt though, right?

    I was a tomboy too, especially with 4 brothers, I was always getting higher in the trees than my younger brother :)

    I keep asking people to put a warning notice "Chrissy dont look" before they show new dies, but they just dont, and I could get into so much trouble...if I lived closer to a craft shop..lol..gorgeous card and just love the little bow [thanks...another one on my wish list]
