Well it's got to be shining somewhere ..... hasn't it?! What a day! I woke up in the early hours to the wind battering the end of the house, and it has just got worse ever since. The bank holiday week is traditionally the time for the Suffolk Show, a two day event that celebrates everything wonderful about this glorious county, and is normally attended by 90,000-100,000 people over the two days. Because of the extra holiday for the Jubilee, the show dates were moved from their usual Wednesday and Thursday to Thursday and Friday. Sadly, because of the high winds, and the danger to people and animals, the show coordinators took the decision this morning to abandon. The first time ever in 181 shows. It is such a shame, these shows are years in the planning and most folk around here look forward to it as a really good family day out.
Anyhoo, to bring a little bit of sunshine to an otherwise dreadful day I made a card to enter into the HOUSE MOUSE AND FRIENDS MONDAY CHALLENGE who have the theme of Here Comes The Sun.

ReplyDeleteAnyone could forget that storms exist looking at this card. It is so bright and sunshiny. The colors and patterns go so well together. Sorry about the inclement weather. 'Tis a bummer when the weather goes awry on plans, but does prove that Nature's a mother. ;-)
