Wishing You Well

Thunder, hail, sleet, sunshine, rain - come on weather, this is East Anglia, not the tropics!  And that's just the last hour.  Move over Vince, I'm coming in the wardrobe with you.

Now then, this week PENNY BLACK SATURDAY CHALLENGE are asking for No Patterned Papers.  The perfect opportunity to get embossing and distressing and stamping backgrounds etc.  So what did I do? Yep, another CAS card.  How predictable.  Low on mojo just now, what with head being full of the old snuffly spluttery cold germs, so this is as imaginative as it gets today I'm afraid.

This is a Penny Black Slapstick stamp called Wishing You Well and if you think the artwork is familiar then, yes, you're right, it's Mo Manning.  Painted in Distress Inks (ReInkers) and a coordinating Distress Inks Tumbled Glass matting layer.  Sentiment is Hero Arts.

Time I was prepping vegetable for tonight's dinner (anyone else have a fight with peeling butternut squash) so I'd better go and put my domestic hat on.

Be back tomorrow with my House Mouse And Friends Monday Challenge GDT card.

Hugs. Sxx

  7. Hi Squirrel, what a cutie she is with her little teddy. Is it just me or does he look a bit apprehensive?

I don't know about butternut squash but I managed to severely trim a nail just peeling potatoes the other day. May have to avoid that peeler, it's a bit vicious!
