Being a country girl, I have seen my fair share of wild rats over the years, but I had quite a surprise tonight coming home from work when, as a passenger in my friend's car, I spotted two of them, running around bold as brass in broad daylight! Both were quite large, fluffy and looked to be in good health. I hope this is not a sign of the times and plague is about to break out ...........
Anyhoo, what I popped on to show you was this little card I made
Ingredients:
Stamped Image Nellie Snellen - Indian Kitten
Medium Distress Inks
Papers Basic Grey - Pyrus
Sentiment Lili of the Valley
I know it is only a very simple little card, but I love the combination of colours, and it really did make me smile while I was making it.
Hugs, Sxx

well it made me smile looking at it,cute image and papers just right and yes i am available to hire for tidying your desk :)
ReplyDeleteThose papers really make the image pop Squirrel...fab colouring...my brother had trouble with rats, and went to the SPCA and got a cat...fat, old, looked lazy...but she brings home rats [dead]bigger than herself and rabbits, so she is worth her weight in gold..lol..

I don't think I've ever seen a wild rat, but I did have a pet one - they're really lovely pets and I'd love another one but the hubby's not so convinced lol!

Really cute card, those papers are gorgeous....
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I was waiting to hear that your rats were small dogs or something... I saw a Chicago subway rat once and that thing looked big enough to steal a baby. Sheesh! Okay, so I didn't know that Nellie Snellen did stamps too. I knew about the dies, but stamps? This is terrible news. Terrible. I need a sugar daddy. Or two. Possibly three of them.
ReplyDeleteHi Squirrel, I really like this card, the colours are very pretty and I like the simple layout, it draws your eyes to the fab picture you coloured in so expertly!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Alex
