Less Is More - Silhouettes

Afternoon all.  This week over at LESS IS MORE the theme is Silhouettes.  My first response was to run screaming from the room.  In fact, I spent an awful lot of yesterday just faffing about with this theme and getting nowhere very quickly.

Anyway, while we sat over at mum and dad's drinking tea, I glanced out of their kitchen window and got the perfect inspiration


Ingredients for this card are:
Stamped Image:  Penny Black Winter Sky
Background: Handpainted in Distress Inks
Matting Layers: Papermania

    Squirrel, this is really beautifully done...love the sky colours and the black images, so pretty, and very effective.

    Hope when the idea came to you didn't spurt out your tea..lol..I normally say quite loudly when an idea has hit me, I do get the strangest looks sometimes.

    This is stunning. Looks like a real work of art! very realistic, can imagine being there! I always struggle with less is more themed cards too, but you've certainly done yourself proud with this.
