Evening all - no card to show you tonight, but a sort of a sneak peek of what I'm up to - anyway, I've been playing with Bev's cloud technique and this is my very first attempt (my Ink Dusters arriving in the post this week) and I'd be grateful to know what you think - am I getting it or not?
I can see now that the one above her head is too uniform - that's my fault for not making my template better - but other than that, I'm quite pleased with it for a first attempt. Be honest though, what do you think? Should I have varied the blue tones more?
Catch up with ya tomorrow. Hugs, Sxx
Omg this is brilliant are you sure it is your 1st can you do all my skys I like the uniformed cloud behind the head.

The middle one is a bit uniform but other than that, it is brilliant, well done love! xxxx
ReplyDeleteFabulous Squirrel, yes..the middle one is uniform, but the blue is so pretty.I have to remember when I'm using the template is to move the template down more, my gap in between was too close. but it is fun to play with.

Other than the uniformity of the middle set, you are on a def. roll! My first attempt at this sure didn't look this good!!

My only critique is all the same bumps on all the clouds. Maybe group some bumps to create larger ones? I was taught to cut a couple templates out of rigid plastic to use for the outlines, then fill in. That was in the days of using chalk and cotton balls, which I guess you are NOT using, but I think it would work with in dabbers which it looks like you DID use. Other than that, it is sure a fabby first go at it!!
